Re: Bristol Assizes archive

Try old newspaper archives at Bristol Central Libary.
Most of the murder stories on my website are from this source.

Re: Bristol Assizes archive

The actual court transcripts of court case in the UK are only available to people having a lawful need for them they are not available to the general public. if you require copies of the transcripts of a particular trial you will have to ask at the court where the trail was held for the name and address of the actual "court writer" for that particular court and trial, you will then have to contact them and request the transcripts if you are lawfully entitled to them they will supply copies. and they dont come cheap.
