Wow!
What a great tour in terms of the rugby and the social side!
Thanks to the seniors who came along to support the tour and at the Uckfield Festival.
The passion and commitment that the Dads played with on the Saturday was more than matched by the children on the Sunday and the coaches and parents were extremely proud of you all. It created a real feelgood factor for everyone concerned. I can personally say that the under 11s surpassed all my expectations and I really hope that they can now move forward and fulfill their considerable potential.
All the work the coaches have put in must now feel very worthwhile and I know that the under 11 players now feel much more like a team than before. The togetherness they now feel will stand them in good stead in the years to come.
Anyway, thanks to Father Dennis and Hanging Judge Jackson for all their efforts in helping to create a great atmosphere and the two Cheryls and Tony Gosh for organising a very enjoyable Tour.
I am very proud to be associated with Stanford Rugby Club and I know that everyone else involved with the club is too.  |
