Deputed Mariner Edward Bartlett

Do you have anything on the cutters listed below on which my GG grandfather Edward Bartlett served as a deputed mariner. I have quite a lot of info from the PRO but would be interested in any activities you may have recorded. The cutters were out of Cowes although Edward came from Melcombe Regis, Weymouth where he was christened in 1778. Swan V was taken by the French off the Needles and Edward escaped with most of the crew who were then taken by the RN but released after a fuss. Edward and some of his crew in 1810 to The Gower to set up a Preventive Boat and where he was later to become head of the Coastguard when it was formed.
