Thank you to Captain Rick Grassett and his great staff for another fun CCA tournament this past weekend. The only improvement I would mention is not to allow Captain Keith Pratt to buy any raffle tickets. Does he ever lose? Just watch when he buys his tickets and buy some right after him, sit at his table and you'll be loading up the truck with all sorts or gear! The food was top shelf as usual and I think the roast beef has become what everyone waits for as well as the desserts. We predicted at the Captains meeting that this would be the first year that a woman would win the fly division overall and Judy Axelrod did just that with a 26 inch plus redfish on fly. Another gal came down from tampa by herself and wade fished the beaches via flyrod which tells me the ladies are up and coming. Hopefully we'll see more women in the future in this division.
